Well done for the fantastic stories that some of you wrote for your last homework- a really impressive effort. This week Year 4 have been set a reading comprehension for homework. This has been sent home on paper.

This week the children's English lessons have been linked to our STEM week activities with a theme of space. We have been inspired by the new DreamWorks animation 'Home', that is due to be released on Friday. For homework this week, the children have been sent home with a competition where they have to write a short story, based on the learning we have been doing in school. Please encourage the children to enter the competition. If they do not wish to enter, they do not have to, but please can they complete their story and return it to school to share with their peers.
