Festival of Light

Wembury Village Hall

Dan Brown, District Councillor will be switching on the Christmas Tree illuminations. Laira Youth Band and Wembury School Choir will be there to sing and play Christmas Carols.

During the evening , Santa will arrive with an empty sack for children to fill with gifts for those who the Shekinah Mission supports. (these can be warm clothes, simple cosmetics, socks for example)

There will be refreshments on sale and we would ask for a £1 donation for each person.


                                                     It is Panto Time!

                                                       Friday 7th December

                                                      Wembury Village Hall

Come and support the village pantomime on Friday 7th December. Ticket proceeds from this performance go directly to FROWS so if you are choosing a date, come and see the excellent performance on Friday! There will be refreshments and a special area at the front for children to view the performance. 

Tickets are available from the Village Shop or Down Thomas shop.



Friends of Wembury School (formerly Wembury School PTA) is proud to support Wembury Primary School through fund raising and organising social events within the community.


If you are a parent at Wembury Primary, you are automatically a Friend of Wembury School.  We are always very keen for new ideas and new people to help us out with events – so if you are interested, please come along. If you are new to the area, the Friends group is a great way to meet other parents and get involved with the school life!


We are lucky to be part of such a great community, and our name change demonstrates our wish to get as many different people from the village to be involved in our events.  So, if you are a past parent or pupil, or a local resident, we would love you to support our events.
