Well it was only to be expected, and what is cross country running without a bit of mud!!?
The running club, for any child in KS2, got off to tackling with mud. Amazingly no-one slipped over, even with their sprint finishes. The older children lead the warm up, stretch and cool down at the end.
The club is for anyone wishing to do just a little or a lot, for fun or to end up entering competitively. Getting that extra bit of exercise and fresh air will ensure a healthier lifestyle and with a little bit of perseverance and encouragement most completed 3 laps of the playing field. I wonder how many will be completed by the end of the year?
