Wembury PTA

Wembury Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) is proud to support Wembury Primary School through fund raising and organising social events within the community.

We are a friendly group of parents and teachers from the school and our key focus is to raise extra funds to help improve the school life of our children. Funds that are raised and have been spent on a variety of initiatives such as subsidising extra activities at school, musical instruments, play equipment and also improvements to the school surroundings.

We meet once a month at the school to discuss new ways of raising money – meeting dates are on our newsletters and are also advertised at the school. New members are always very welcome! We have big targets to raise funds this year as we are working towards improving the play areas outside and building a new play ground.

The Wembury PTA are very lucky to have a very social and active parent population and great village community who support us hence attendance at our events is always very good!! We are always very keen for new ideas and new people to help us out with events – so if you are interested, please come along. If you are new to the area, the PTA also is a great way to meet other parents and get involved with the school life! Our biggest fundraiser every year is the summer fair and we are always looking for new ideas and ways to improve this great event!

Garden initiative Catalogue : Containing a variety of spring flowering bulbs,rose bushes, and fair trade chocolates.In book bags Wed 17th Sept.

Bingo and curry night-Sat 4th October  7.00 village hall.
