Y5 had a brilliant morning with the National Trust. They travelled to Wembury Woods to see how the trees that they planted last year were growing. The children then went into the National Trust forest to identify different leaves, before gathering natural materials to make a Leaf Beastie. With a some natural clay and their natural materials, each child made their own Leaf Beastie. Some of the children left their Leaf Beasties to guard their trees!
