Year 5 have really enjoyed their daily mile each morning. With six laps around the school field, the children have been really persevering to complete their mile as quickly as they can. Most children have been getting faster each time; they are rewarded if they beat their PB. The aim of the daily mile is to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and wellbeing of the children. We are hoping this regular physical activity will not only improve their fitness, but also their concentration levels, mood and general wellbeing. Well done Year 5 and keep it up!
