Focusing on our skim-reading skills, we got ourselves into teams and had 30 seconds each to skim-read an information text. The team with the most facts at the end won!
Starfish class are editor warriors! We worked in random pairs to share and peer edit our short stories. Our stories are inspired by 'The Book of Hope' and are all completely unique! We are looking forward to typing them up in best on the laptops.
We decided to show off our drama skills in our English session. It helped us to put ourselves into the characters' shoes and show off our understanding of their emotions and feelings.
There was lots of laughter as we experimented with the different roles!
