Year 4 have had a lot of fun on their 'Juggling Balls' DT unit of work. We began by exploring juggling balls of different shapes, size and design. This helped children to generate ideas for their own design that met the design brief. We explored different fillings - testing how they felt when being dropped or caught and practised our running stitch before cutting, sewing and filling our very own juggling ball. Children were delighted with their results but were able to suggest appropriate improvements to make their design even better next time. Take a look at the pictures showing the various different stages of the project.
