This has nothing to do with the recent weather!!
The school was thriving with so many book characters visiting. What a way to celebrate the love and enjoyment of books!
Instead of 'Where's Wally?' it was more a case of 'Where's Red Riding Hood?'
Not only did we celebrate books, we also held an Extreme Reading competition, with a number of entries and some late in the day, so a final decision will be made later this evening.
Mrs Chamberlain, sorry Red Riding Hood No 1, launched 100 Million Minutes
where our aim is to accrue as many minutes reading as possible, as a school. The children are very keen to get on the league board and we hope that this will also develop their enjoyment of reading as well as further develop their writing and spelling. Look out for the email and information that has already been sent home, and help us to... WIN WIN WIN!
