Brilliant Boccia

Friday 03rd February 2017 – What a fantastic afternoon of sport at Tor Bridge High School. 15 teams attended taking part in our very relaxed and friendly Boccia competition. This was one of the biggest turn outs to date with schools coming from across the city to take part. Representing their schools today were teams from Cann Bridge, Eggbuckland Vale, Montpelier, Oreston, Pomphlett, Riverside, Thornbury and our fantastic team from Wembury, representing us this time we had Ajay, Lacey and Finley, and what a fantastic job they did! There were some experienced players but also children who had never played before – no experience is necessary for this event, we just aim to play as much Boccia as possible against as many teams as possible. This fully inclusive event was led by the fantastic leadership academy at Tor Bridge High. The Gold and Silver Ambassadors did a fantastic job of setting up the games, scoring and generally being great role models for the primary children!

The next Boccia event is on Thursday 30th March
