Today, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 have had an assembly presented by two RNLI lifeguards. They spoke about beach and water safety, told the children all about the meaning of the safety flags and even explained how to get out of trouble if they ever get caught in a rip current.
We learnt a lot about respecting the power of the sea and what to do if we see someone else in trouble. Feel free to ask the children all about the emergency actions they were shown.
We look forward to a safe summer on the beaches!
