The new Sensory Garden was formerly opened by Chair of Governors, Sheila Jenkins, and gardener extraordinaire Emma Draper. (Emma is also very good at baking cakes!)
There was a lovely gathering of parents, children, staff and helpers on a beautiful, late, school afternoon.
Bo and Emma (twins) also decided to let their butterflies go as part of the evening, what a lovely garden they have to feed in. (They had nurtured these from cocoons, so they made a very timely appearance.) This was so kind of the girls and as you can see the butterflies were quite used to handling!
