Summer Fayre Madness

What an amazing Summer Fayre! With the previous day's bad weather, and never knowing who will turn up to help, there were doubts about how smoothly things would run. But of course as usual parents, families and children turned up early to set up and help run the day; and what a successful day it was! The sun shone, the BBQ, bar and Pimms tent were run off their feet, the coconut shy ran out of coconuts and although it was due to finish at 4.00pm there were still people around on the bouncy castle and bungy run at 5.00pm!

The Year 2 did four amazing performances around the Maypole and Trevor, who has been supporting this for 35 years has decided he may take it a little easier next year. There was a busking tent - a new addition to the fayre - that proved very popular with children and adults alike.

We are hoping that this is our most successful fayre to date - without these fund raising events the school would not be able to purchase some of the additional resources across the school, to support pupils' learning.

A MASSIVE thank you to the wonderful PTA for its continued support and efforts and also to all those who joined us on this glorious day.
