At Wembury Primary School, we intend to deliver a progressive, high–quality geography education that will allow pupils to gain a natural curiosity and fascination about the world that they live in. We aim to stimulate all children’s interest and understanding of diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments. 

The children at Wembury will start off their geographical learning with the ‘familiar’, exploring their local area and the United Kingdom. They will and will develop the skills necessary to branch out and explore the ‘unfamiliar’, with place, space and scale at the heart throughout our geographical curriculum.
