Wow! Year 4 have worked so hard in the first half term this year. We have been focussing on the core elements of fitness; strength, speed, stamina and coordination.
We have worked on how fast we can run and exercise, how long we can keep going doing intense exercise, basic hand eye coordination, breathing techniques and team work.
All the children have worked really hard and really enjoyed these session taking real pride in running a whole mile and watching themselves progress and be able to exercise harder, faster and longer. I know a few have told me they are now dragging their parents out running with them too so well done Year 4 keep it up!
The second half of the Autumn term will be focussing on ball skills, invasion games and team work.
