Year 6 have really enjoyed their learning in PE so far this term. Our specialist sports teacher Jan Walpole has been teaching us all about the 4 main elements of fitness and has carried out a baseline assessment on all class members, testing our speed, agility, stamina and co-ordination. We will continue to work on all these areas over the next 5 weeks and and re - assess our fitness levels. I wonder how much we can improve on each area? It will be fun finding out.
We have also introduced our 'Trial a mile' this week and so far this has been a really enjoyable experience for us all and they have all had trainers in school - lets hope this continues, well done and thank you! The children are learning how we can improve our fitness in so many ways.
